Founder, designer and creative director Toumazos Charalambous aims to discover a pathway between personal inspirations and passions, which he then interprets through self-exploration and dedication.

All collections are driven by conceptual background, with attention to innovative designs and details. Emphasis on tailoring and consciousness to detail and quality has been the brand’s main focus since day one. The collections feature a genderless approach and aesthetic.

“Both as an individual and as a brand, I believe that sustainability in fashion is vital and the future of the fashion industry. I believe that now more than ever, the world is in urgent need of change, and that’s no different when it comes to the fashion industry; not just in fabric choices but in addressing the whole system of fashion with greater ecological integrity, social justice and ethical processes in all stages of the creative process both towards the environment and the human.” Said Toumazos Charalambous, Creative Director, Tommazo.

PROUD ANGELES

Proud Angeles is more than just a brand, it is a community established for creative and artistic individuals to find their voice. The LA-born brand seeks to mimic the good vibes, experiences, and colorful culture that LA has to offer, here in the Middle East.

Proud Angeles was born in 2016 in the heart of LA. The brand started as a retailer catering for many LA brands and linking the bridge between LA and Saudi. The focus later shifted to creating unique pieces that in its essence creates that bridge between these two cultures. The brand has worked with many creatives in the industry, from athletes to graffiti artists, to create a community of individualistic self-expression. In 2019, Proud Angeles launched Proud Bars, which is a music initiative that brings together local rappers, DJs, and producers, to freely create and express themselves. In late 2020, Proud Angeles was also featured in Vogue. Today, Proud Angeles continues to set the bar high for creatives in the community, while also inspiring others to be their true selves.

“When I think of a streetwear guru turned entrepreneur I think “Oversized Tailored Comfort” The collection will be a mix of tailored-looking pieces with on suits, but with a streetwear twist, details usually seen.” Said Mohammed Bajabaa, Founder of Proud Angeles.

BEHNOODE

The Italian label, Behnoode has premiered an ss22 fashion film titled the “Digital Domination” highlighting the control of the social media in our lives.

“We live in a world where our phones control our lives. They have become so deeply ingrained in our daily existence. Our phones are closer to us than our family, friends and relationships. Our need for external validation has replaced our inner evolution. Perfection has replaced kindness. Social interactions interrupted with incoming messages making us more disconnected than ever. Have we lost our human connection with the world to become a robot and slave to the digital virtual world?” said the brand’s founder Behnood Javaherpour. The inspiration for BEHOONDE latest collection was the control of the social media replacing the inner evolution.
