Dubai, UAE, 25 October 2026: The Spring/Summer 2027 (SS27) edition of Dubai Fashion Week (DFW) continued to spotlight international talent with the participation of four Bogotá-based brands – Adriana Capasso, Laura Aparicio, ODA Store and Mónica Schuster by Sermetex. The four brands were presented by the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce (CCB) as part of a dedicated Colombia Day at DFW.
Co-founded by Dubai Design District (d3), the global creative hub that is part of TECOM Group, and the Arab Fashion Council, DFW runs until 26 October and brings together international and regional designers, industry leaders and media, reinforcing Dubai’s position as a global hub for fashion and creativity.
The Colombia Day initiative, part of the CCB’s [PUENTE] Internacional programme, aims to connect Bogotá’s fashion businesses with buyers, commercial partners and new market opportunities across the Middle East, reinforcing DFW’s role as a platform for international creative exchange and business development.
Laura Aparicio
Laura Aparicio presented ‘NANDA,’ her SS27 collection, celebrating confidence, self-expression and empowered femininity. Rooted in Colombian identity and conscious design, the showcase featured oversized silhouettes, sculptural forms and fluid fabrics, brought to life through a bold palette of saturated yellow, red and blue.
Adriana Capasso
Adriana Capasso unveiled ‘TRACE,’ a collection inspired by the landscapes, textures and sensory experiences of Colombia’s coffee plantations. Combining sculptural silhouettes, architectural volumes and intricate textile manipulation, the pieces translated the rhythms of the Quindío region into a contemporary design language that balanced structure, fluidity and timeless elegance. Footwear designer Liza Herrera complemented Adriana Capasso’s runway presentation, adding distinctive touches to the looks.
ODA Store
ODA Store presented ‘Convergencia,’ which explored how encounters and intersecting paths shape identity. The collection paired structured tailoring with fluid forms, layered garments and intersecting details inspired by Bogotá’s urban landscape. Footwear designer Liza Herrera again added her signature designs to this showcase.
