Gunel Ismayilova is the Founder and Creative Director of GNL Couture, a luxury couture house founded in 2018 in Baku, Azerbaijan. Built upon a family heritage of craftsmanship dating back to 1991, GNL Couture combines traditional couture techniques with a contemporary vision of elegance and femininity.
Having studied Business Management and Finance and completed a Management of Fashion and Luxury Companies program at Bocconi Università, Gunel combines creative excellence with strategic business leadership.
Known for sculptural silhouettes, intricate hand embroidery, and timeless craftsmanship, GNL Couture specializes in bespoke bridal gowns, evening couture, and modest luxury. Every piece is meticulously handcrafted by skilled artisans, reflecting the house’s dedication to exceptional quality and artistry.
Serving clients across Europe, the Middle East, North America, and Asia, GNL Couture expanded its international presence with the opening of its Dubai showroom in Jumeirah in June 2026.
