As the driving force behind the brand, Jozeph and Cintia Diarbakerli lead with a shared vision: to create bold, refined womenswear that celebrates female presence in its most striking, unapologetic form. Born into a Syrian Armenian family and raised in Canada from a young age, the siblings grew up at the intersection of two worlds — where tradition met modernity, and where their deep-rooted Arab/Armenian heritage quietly shaped their aesthetic identity.  

Even as children, their obsession with fashion was visceral. They collected magazines like sacred objects, studying every page with precision — judging the silhouettes of red-carpet gowns, the attitude of supermodels, the language of style. But it wasn’t just admiration; it was preparation. They weren’t just dreaming — they were designing.  

Jozeph Diarbakerli is a graduate of one of Canada’s most respected fashion design institutions, where he developed his technical craft and creative voice. His academic foundation, combined with years of hands-on experience, positioned him as a designer with both vision and precision, equally fluent in artistry and execution.  

Launched in 2024, the Jozeph Diarbakerli brand is a testament to duality: East and West, softness and power, intimacy and spectacle. Their Arab/Armenian background gave them a rich visual memory — one filled with grandeur, beauty, and cultural depth — while growing up in the West gave them an outsider’s edge, a sharper eye, a hunger to break boundaries. The result is a rare balance: emotionally charged, sculptural pieces that feel both global and personal.
