ARAB FASHION COUNCIL AND MICROSOFT CELEBRATE THE LAUNCH OF WINDOWS 11
The company showcases key features of the new operating system and its creative impact on the
fashion world.
The Arab Fashion Council and Microsoft teamed up to acknowledge Windows’s influential and inspiring contributions to UAE’s fashion industry leaders at Dubai Fashion Week. The organizations collaborated to highlight success stories of individuals and their experiences with Microsoft technologies that enhanced career growth and solidified their position in the industry.
“Windows has been a long-standing companion for all of our digital ambitions,” Microsoft UAE. “From turning forward-thinking ideas into real-life solutions to inspiring individuals to express their creative genius freely, we have benefitted greatly from the capabilities of Windows. Dubai Fashion Week gives us the opportunity to celebrate the creativity of the fashion industry’s best and fully appreciate the features of the new Windows 11, empowering users to achieve more in fulfilling their dreams and sharing it with the rest of the world.”
Windows has always existed to be a stage for the world’s leading innovations. It’s been the backbone of global businesses and where startups have become household names. The Web was born and evolved on Windows. It’s the place where many of us wrote our first email and played our first PC game. Most of us grew up learning about computers on Windows, a platform that helped the world innovate and develop the modern era we thrive now.
The past 18 months, throughout the challenges of the pandemic, created an incredible shift in how we use our PCs. We went from fitting the PC into our lives to trying to fit our entire lives into the PC. Our devices weren’t just where we went from meetings, classes, and to get things done, but where we could play games with friends, watch our favorite shows, and, perhaps most meaningfully, connect with one another. Within this process, we found ourselves recreating the office banter, hallway chatter, workouts, happy hours, and holiday celebrations – all digitally.
In celebration of decades of innovation, from connecting minds to conducting business, and the launch of Windows 11, the Arab Fashion Council and Microsoft selected 11 industry leaders and entrepreneurs based in the UAE to share with the audience their nostalgic memories with Windows; and to be introduced to Windows 11, the Windows that brings you closer to what you love.
