Sara Pedram is a self-taught fashion designer from Shiraz, southern Iran, and the founder of Sara Pedram Creations. Her connection to fashion began in childhood. By around nine, she insisted on choosing her own outfits, matching each dress with the bag and hat she envisioned. She still keeps some of those clothes today. 

Although Sara wanted to study art, her family encouraged her towards a future they believed would offer greater security. She studied chemical engineering for four years before choosing to pursue her creative ambitions. 

Moving from Shiraz to Tehran, she founded Sara Pedram Creations in 2015, working from home with a single tailor. Her process began with fabric: its texture, colour and character inspired what she would create. 

Storytelling and intricate hand embroidery are central to Sara’s work. Her Persian heritage instinctively shapes the colours, motifs and materials she chooses, bringing a personal narrative to her contemporary couture. 

Sara believes clothing expresses individuality. Her one-of-a-kind pieces combine careful attention to fit with quality materials and considered craftsmanship. She sees a future in which people increasingly value fewer, more personal pieces, created through a dialogue with their designer to reflect their own character and style. 

In 2021, Sara established her atelier in Dubai Design District. Her journey has since taken her to the runways of Milan and Paris, guided by the same creative vision she held from the beginning. 

For Sara, design remains a lifelong process of learning and refinement. As she continues to develop her craft and connect with clients around the world, she feels her journey is still only beginning.
